On November 9, the Nobel Sustainability Trust (NST) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) presented the “Sustainability Award supported by NST” for outstanding research and development work in the fields of sustainable energy and climate change economics at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Munich. The award recognizes individuals or institutions who have made important discoveries of potential importance to the well-being of mankind. Prof. Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt was the laudatory speaker for the Sustainability Award for Leadership in Implementation, which was awarded to Lord Nicholas Stern from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
