Prof. Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt was appointed as a new member of the Global Future Council on Agile Governance 2020-2022 of the World Economic Forum by Klaus Schwab, founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum. The Global Future Council on Agile Governance brings together leading experts from business and government to drive regulatory reform that unleashes innovation and drives economic growth. The council is developing a playbook of agile regulatory techniques (e.g. regulatory sandboxes) that governments can adopt to support and stimulate innovation, drawing on best practices from around the world. Next year’s council will focus on developing the role of business in driving agile technology governance in support of government practices.
