The Chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, has assigned Prof. Dr. da Conceição-Heldt to chair an international jury in charge of the awarding of the new John McCain Dissertation Award. This prize is awarded annually at the Munich Security Conference for up to two doctoral theses based on outstanding scientific contributions in the field of transatlantic relations with a focus on foreign and security policy.
