Andrew Moravcsik, Professor of Politics and International Affairs and Director of European Union Program at Princeton University, is appointed “TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professor” at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). With the honorary title “TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professor“, TUM honors internationally outstanding scientists who have developed a field of science in a leading way and who collaborate with their TUM colleagues on a long-term basis. Moravcsik is considered the founder and most important representative of the theory of Liberal Intergovernmentalism in the political science sub-discipline of European Integration as well as of Liberal Theories in International Relations.
