Prof. Dr. Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt will become Chair of European and Global Governance at the Technical University of Munich. She comes from the Technical University of Dresden, where she held the Chair of International Politics and was Executive Director of the Institute of Political Science. Previously, she conducted research at Harvard University and Freie Universität Berlin, among others. Conceição-Heldt works in the fields of international relations, European integration, and international political economy. In 2010, she received a Heisenberg fellowship from the DFG, and in 2012 she was awarded a €1.3 million research prize from the European Research Council (ERC).
