Prof. da Conceição-Heldt has been appointed a member of the World Portuguese Network (Portugese Disapora Council) – a network under the patronage of the Portuguese President and the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Membership in this network is reserved for the 100 most influential Portuguese living abroad (a total of 5 million) from science, business, culture and civil society. She is also a member of the board of directors.
